Job Description

Position Announcement:
Director of Admissions Northeastern Junior College is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to serve as the Director of Admissions. This position is responsible for directing the office and staff functions in all student enrollment and recruitment efforts in order to maintain optimum student enrollment in all college programs. The Director of Admissions reports to the Vice President of Student Services. What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
Lead the coordination of all on and off-campus recruiting functions and events. Work closely with all campus departments in supporting students. Manage all admissions communications and outreach platforms. Represent NJC on system-wide and state-wide functional groups. Supervision of the Admissions Office staff. Oversee the daily administrative functions of the Admissions Office and Welcome Center.

Positive attitude that can inspire others. Exceptional organizational and planning skills. Knowledge of higher education processes and campus operations. Ability to serve as a team member and a team leader on campus and in the community. Ability to lead and follow well, accept criticism, handle conflict, and motivate others. Experience with standard MS Office programs.
What We Require:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Experience in student recruitment or other relevant student focused areas in a college setting. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend events. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Proficient use of computers and applications. Valid Colorado driver license. Must submit to and successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment background check as a condition of hire, including fingerprinting.
What We Can Offer:
This is a full-time professional appointment. Annual salary is $52,000-$58000, depending on qualifications and experience. Competitive fringe benefit package available which includes medical, dental, life, PERA Retirement Plan, 11 paid holidays, and several optional benefits. Position begins as soon as a qualified candidate is identified.
