Role:
Hawke Mountain Ventures, LLC is looking for a passionate and energetic Outdoor Education Facilitator to join our team in Fairfield, CT! This is an exciting opportunity to inspire participants of all ages through hands-on outdoor learning experiences while fostering a love of nature and adventure. If you thrive in the great outdoors and have a gift for teaching, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and lead engaging outdoor education programs and activities for diverse groups Facilitate team-building exercises, nature exploration, and adventure-based learning experiences Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during outdoor activities and excursions Adapt curriculum and programming to meet the needs of varying age groups and skill levels Maintain and inspect equipment and outdoor facilities to ensure safe conditions Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and staff regarding program goals and outcomes Model environmental stewardship and Leave No Trace principles in all programming
