Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Part Time Boys Lacrosse Program Director and lead the development of engaging, skill-building lacrosse programs for youth and high school aged athletes. This energetic role offers the opportunity to inspire young athletes, foster teamwork, and promote healthy physical activity through organized sports. As a key contributor, you will design and implement lacrosse training sessions, coordinate team activities, and ensure a positive, inclusive environment for all participants. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about sports coaching, youth development, and creating memorable sporting experiences. Duties Plan and execute engaging lacrosse practices and games that promote skill development and sportsmanship Coordinate schedules for teams, leagues, and special events to maximize participation and enjoyment Provide coaching guidance tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring safety and fun Foster a positive environment by encouraging teamwork, good behavior, and respect among players Oversee equipment management, field setup, and safety protocols to maintain a well-organized program Collaborate with parents, school staff, and community partners to promote program participation and growth Monitor participant progress and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in skills Qualifications Prior experience in sports coaching or teaching physical education, preferably with youth or children Knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and safety standards; Lifeguard experience or similar safety certifications are a plus Strong behavior management skills to foster respectful interactions among participants Experience in sports is beneficial for understanding team dynamics Ability to lead energetic activities while maintaining a safe environment Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring young athletes This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on youth through sport while developing your leadership skills. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
