Miami, FL (Overtown or Homestead) About Us Touching Miami with Love (TML) is a faith-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth and strengthening families in Overtown and West Homestead. Through holistic programming, workforce development, and community-centered initiatives, TML creates pathways for long-term opportunity, stability, and growth. Position Overview The Donor Engagement & Philanthropy Associate plays a key role in advancing TML's fundraising efforts by building and nurturing relationships with donors, supporters, and partners. This position supports donor communications, stewardship, and campaign execution, ensuring every supporter feels connected, valued, and inspired to invest in TML's mission. This is a high-growth role ideal for someone who is both relational and organized, with a passion for storytelling, community impact, and philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Engagement & Stewardship Support the cultivation and stewardship of individual donors, sponsors, and partners Assist in managing donor communications, including thank-you letters, updates, and impact reports Help coordinate donor touchpoints such as calls, meetings, and engagement opportunities Ensure timely and meaningful acknowledgment of all gifts Fundraising Campaign Support Assist in executing fundraising campaigns (e.g., Lifted by Love , Give Miami Day, annual appeals) Support donor outreach efforts including email, phone, and in-person engagement Track donor engagement and campaign performance Donor Data & CRM Management Maintain accurate donor records in CRM/database Track gifts, pledges, and donor interactions Generate reports to support fundraising strategy and decision-making Events & Donor Experience Support donor-focused events including fundraisers, appreciation events, and community gatherings Help ensure a high-quality, relationship-centered experience for all attendees Research & Pipeline Development Assist in identifying and researching prospective donors and funding opportunities Support development of donor lists and outreach strategies Qualifications Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in nonprofit development, communications, marketing, or related field 1-3 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or customer/client relationship roles preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail and organizational ability Comfort working with databases/CRMs (or willingness to learn) Passion for community impact and relationship-building Key Attributes Relationship-driven and people-focused Strong communicator and storyteller Organized and detail-oriented Proactive and resourceful Aligned with TML's mission and values Why This Role Matters This role directly fuels the sustainability and growth of TML's mission. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
