Job Description
Clinical Education Support Liaison Position Highlights:
As a member of the Office of Clinical Education (OCE), the Clinical Education Support Liaison assists GME Program Administrators and OCE leadership in supporting the effective operation of OCE lines of service. This role encompasses many aspects of the administration of clinical education and research for Moffitt‑owned and operated programs, University of South Florida (USF)‑owned programs based at or rotating through Moffitt and visiting learners from other institutions training at Moffitt.Responsibilities:
Job‑Specific Duties:
Provide daily administrative support to the OCE lines of service, to include the clinical training programs, research, OCE leadership needs, trainees, and others as assigned. Ensure all onboarding and offboarding steps required for trainees to start and end training at Moffitt are completed according to established requirements and timelines, assisting trainees in the onboarding and offboarding process. Work under the direction of OCE leadership with outside academic institutions and Moffitt faculty members to assist visiting trainees. Prepare, provide, and collect Moffitt trainee requirements such as forms, documents, badges, scrubs, etc. Support Program Administrators in the trainee recruitment process. Schedule, prepare for, and attend program meetings as indicated and prepare minutes as indicated. Perform data entry in trainee management software (New Innovations), MS Office products, and other software systems to maintain lists and records and create documents in support of the training programs and trainees. Process expenses. Create and maintain records by creating and updating lists, documents, spreadsheets, and databases as assigned. Create and deliver orders for food and supplies. Provide verifications of training for program alumni. Assist with orientation, graduation, and other GME events. Attend at least one GME retreat (held semi‑annually) each year. Attend educational conferences at the institutional and national level as required. Attend Residency Management System (New Innovations) training each year as determined by the GME office. Attend other conferences and educational opportunities as desired and required to keep knowledge base up to date and participate fully in the community of learners. Liaisons are encouraged to pursue Training Administrators of GME (TAGME) Certification within five years of appointment.Education and Credentials:
High School Diploma/GED One year experience assisting with and supporting education/training programs or in an administrative role within an academic healthcare setting or university graduate medical education.Similar jobs in Tampa, FL
