This position requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in education administration, recruiting, and public speaking. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for student engagement and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports student success. Duties Oversee the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified applicants, including outreach programs and events. Collaborate with academic departments to align admissions goals with institutional objectives. Utilize Ellucian software for data management, reporting, and analysis of admissions trends. Conduct presentations and workshops to promote the institution at various events and conferences. Provide academic advising to prospective students, guiding them through program options and requirements. Lead and mentor the admissions team, fostering professional development and enhancing team performance. Maintain relationships with high schools, community colleges, and other organizations to promote partnerships and recruitment opportunities. Requirements Proven experience in education administration or related field, preferably within a university setting. Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems is highly desirable. Experience in recruiting and working directly with students throughout the admissions process. Background in teaching or academic advising is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of student needs and educational pathways. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
