Full Time Exempt Position Summary The Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management/operations and administrative support for their assigned programs. The Program Manager must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in their interactions with internal and external stakeholders, be highly ethical, and possess the ability to maintain confidentiality. Reports to Direct Report to the Director of Organizational & Education Leadership Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Director with overseeing and managing program functions, including the oversight of day-to-day operations, office management, student support, recruitment-related activities, and data management as related to program review, program assessment, and accreditation. Manage program data and reports, including enrollment data, program evaluations, and outcome assessments. Coordinate program events, including orientations, workshops, and networking events to promote a graduate culture. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure the program meets the needs of students and achieves its program goals and learning outcomes. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including alumni and community partners. Support student success by assisting the Director with academic advising and other resources. Assist the Director in developing and managing program budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring fiscal responsibility. Assist with other education programs as needed. Education and Experience Minimum Education Bachelor's degree Preferred Education Master's degree. Experience and Skills 2 years in an administrative role. Preferred experience working in a college or university environment. Technical skills Must be computer literate with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Platforms. Must be able to navigate the Internet and possess knowledge of common office equipment. Physical Requirements Duties involve light work in an office and community setting and require a minimum of physical effort with intermittent sitting, standing, climbing stairs, and walking inclines. Must be able to lift 20 pounds, walk the campus with ease, and have excellent motor skills. Must have finger dexterity. Must be able to communicate information and ideas so that others will understand. Other Requirements This is a full-time and exempt position. Forty hours per week (M-F) will be the general rule. However, depending on the project cycles and workflow demands of the department, additional hours, weekends, or workday schedule changes may be occasionally required. Must be willing and able to work occasional nights and weekends, and have a varying schedule when required. Flex scheduling will be utilized to accommodate weekend and evening work when appropriate. Performs similar, comparable, or related duties as may be assigned or required Observes all safety and health regulations and works in accordance with safe work procedures and policies of the University.
