Admissions Director Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in nursing home or long-term care admissions and/or marketing In-depth knowledge of the admission process and payer sources, including Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, and Managed Care Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in computer systems and databases Ability to work well in a team setting with a positive and enthusiastic approach to tasks Reliable and self-motivated with excellent organizational skills As an Admissions Director, you will: Oversee the complete admission process for new and returning residents Manage the referral process and build relationships with hospitals, providers, and community partners Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families Communicate new admissions, discharges, and readmissions to the interdisciplinary team (IDT) Meet and greet new residents and family members , obtaining required documentation and signatures Collaborate with the Business Office on daily census reconciliation Participate in morning and afternoon meetings to stay informed on census and admissions needs Assist in bed management and room moves as needed A Workplace That Cares About You!
