Loyola Academy Annual Giving Coordinator 12-month, Salaried Exempt, Institutional Staff Position The Annual Giving Coordinator plays an important role in the success of the Annual Giving Program and the larger Advancement team. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Coordinator provides direct support for Loyola's annual giving initiatives; efforts in cultivation, acquisition, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal; volunteer groups; and special projects. This position assists with the production and implementation of targeted appeals and campaignsdigital, print, social mediafor annual & leadership annual giving. The Annual Giving Coordinator must possess exceptional organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to take initiative and work independently when needed, but also contribute to success as an enthusiastic team member. This role requires engagement with internal faculty/staff partners as well as contact with external partners, such as vendors, volunteers, and donors of various constituencies (i.e. alumni, parents, graduate parents, friends). Given the importance of building relationships in this role, this position requires a high level of interpersonal skills, confidentiality, trust, and good judgement in high stakes situations.Reports to:
Director of Annual Giving Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with the Director of Annual Giving to provide donor-centric operational and fundraising support and to help implement overall strategy for Annual Giving Support the creation and implementation of AGP's communications strategy by assisting with the planning, production, coordination, and dissemination of direct marketing appeals and outreach campaigns, including the direct mail, email, and social media Draft compelling, donor-focused, and high-quality communications designed for donors and supporters, including but not limited to: solicitations, announcements, brochures, social media posts, and web content. Coordinate logistics of special projects, such as the senior class gift, young alumni campaigns in collaboration with the Office of Alumni Relations, Loyola's day of giving, etc. Serve as the DRI for Annual Fund parent volunteers, actively managing their schedules, projects, and progress. Recruit and manage student volunteers to assist with Annual Giving outreach Support stewardship efforts for all giving societies and programs; assist with other activities designed to connect donors to the mission of LA Manage and maintain relationships with key internal and external partners. Collaborate with teams (advancement communications, advancement services, alumni, major gifts) as necessary. Participate in development and alumni events as needed. Support alumni relations team with its work to amplify reunion class giving. Plan and execute Annual Giving events, including but not limited to Dona Marina Masses & receptions and fall leadership receptions for parents, in partnership with the Offices of Alumni Relations and Stewardship when appropriate Work with the Data Manager on segmentation strategies and ways to measure and communicate ROI on campaigns Ensure donor communications are accurately and promptly entered in the donor database (Raiser's Edge NXT) Create reports in Raiser's Edge related to benchmarking, goal setting, and reporting Support the Director of Annual Giving with administrative day-to-day tasks The omission of specific duties as outlined above does not preclude the supervisor from assigning additional duties that relate to the position. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's degree or equivalent expertise demonstrated through relevant professional experience Superior personal accountability, work ethic, drive to meet goals, time management, attention to detail, enthusiasm, creativity, communication skillsboth written and verbal, high degree of professionalism, an ability to handle sensitive information Commitment to the principles of Jesuit education as outlined in Loyola Academy's mission statement Passionate about philanthropy Proficiency in project management, including planning, prioritizing, organizing, and completing tasks with multiple deadlines for multiple stakeholders Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and design software (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop) Discretion and sensitivity in handling and safeguarding confidential information Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours, ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include occasional evenings and weekends Moderate physical activity. Requires handling objects of average weight up to fifty (50) pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day Pre-Employment screening is required: criminal background check and drug testing Preferred Qualifications 13 years experience in fundraising or related field Familiarity with the history, mission, and values of Jesuit education Previous experience providing administrative support in a school or advancement setting Experience with Raiser's Edge The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
