Full Job Description Position:
All-Star Program Director Location:
Jeffersonville / Kentuckiana area (on-site)
Commitment:
Full-time preferred (flexible for the right candidate)
Experience Required:
3+ years All-Star coaching and/or program director experience Summary Aspire Cheer Academy is hiring an experienced, energetic All-Star Program Director to lead our All-Star program as we enter Season 7 and continue to grow. You'll be the strategic and day-to-day leader who places structure, raises standards, and builds a culture of accountability, excellence, and kindness across athletes, families, and staff. This role blends coaching, operations, mentorship, and program development — perfect for a proven cheer professional who loves teaching, leading teams, and growing programs. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the All-Star program: practices, choreography flow, team placement, competition readiness, and seasonal planning.
Oversee coaches:
set expectations for how coaches show up (teaching style, punctuality, communication), run coach trainings, conduct observations and performance reviews, and support professional development.
Design and maintain program structure:
curricula for stunting, tumbling, flexibility, technique, progressions, and skill tracking across levels. Set and enforce athlete expectations for practice, competitions, and gym conduct — model and maintain discipline and respect across the floor. Build strong parent and family relationships: partner with office staff to implement communication systems (announcements, progress updates, events) and run family engagement nights/clinics.
Grow and expand the program:
recommend new teams/levels, lead tryout planning, evaluate recruitment opportunities, and support marketing outreach.
Ensure safety and compliance:
implement warm-ups, spotting protocols, injury reporting, and enforce gym policies. Manage schedules and logistics for practices, competitions, and staff coverage; support budgetary conversations as needed. Required Qualifications 3+ years of All-Star cheer coaching and/or director experience. Proven leadership experience (coaching staff, leading practices, running clinics, or program management). Strong communication skills with athletes, parents, and staff; comfortable giving clear, compassionate feedback and holding others accountable. Deep knowledge of stunting, tumbling progressions, technique, and age-appropriate training methods. Able to develop structure, systems, and routines that scale as the program grows. Passion for athlete development, safety, and building a positive team culture. Preferred Competition choreography experience and judging/competition insight. Experience running coach trainings, camps/clinics, and family events. Background in scheduling, program growth planning, or youth sports operations. What We Offer Opportunity to shape and grow a championship-level All-Star program entering Season 7. A collaborative, community-focused environment with a passionate staff and motivated athletes. Competitive compensation (commensurate with experience) and opportunities for professional development. A chance to make a lasting impact on athletes' development and the local cheer community.
