About This Role K-State Athletics is seeking qualified applicants for an Academics/Strategic Learning Post Graduate Intern. This position is responsible for providing academic support to a caseload of students that includes developing and monitoring academic plans, assisting with development of study skills and individualized learning strategies; assisting students with course and major selections, grade and eligibility requirements; connecting to tutorial and academic support resources; developing and maintaining academic records and reports, and other projects assigned by the fulltime staff. Succeed Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree at time of application in higher education, special education, or related field Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with attention to detail Strong leadership capabilities Working knowledge of NCAA eligibility bylaws Must be able to work nights and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in higher education, special education, or related field Experience in student-athlete academic support / athletics academic services Experience working with at-risk student-athlete populations Experience working as GA in athletics academic support; in secondary or post-secondary education as a teacher or paraprofessional, or other related area Sponsorship eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship How to Apply To be considered for the position, please complete the online application and submit/upload a current resume with three professional references and a letter of interest.
