Decedent Affairs Office Work Location Lexington, KY Grade Level 08 Salary Range $19.00-30.09/hour Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education HS Click here for more information about equivalencies: https://hr.uky.edu/employment/working-uk/equivalencies Required Related Experience 2 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification None Physical Requirements Regularly requires sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift, carry, and push/pull decedents up to 300 lbs. Ability to use hoyer lift to move decedents. Shift 630pm-7am (36 hours a week); holidays and weekends are required and overtime may be offered depending on the departments needs. As a Decedent Affairs Representative, you are not just performing a job; you are providing essential support and care that families will remember long after they leave our facility. This position will cross train with the Central Staffing Office to provide coverage as requested to the central staffing team.
Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities EPIC, Proficiency in Windows-based PC skills and Microsoft office, Decedent Documentation Database, Excellent listening and communication skills and excellent customer service. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
