The Admissions Student Worker plays a crucial role in maintaining the year-round functionality and overall success of the Admissions Office. They serve as the primary point of contact for the Admissions Department, undertaking tasks such as front desk reception, project support, data entry, filing, phone answering, responding to email inquiries, providing hospitality for Admissions guests, and fulfilling various assigned duties.
Essential Functions:
Acts as a receptionist for the Admissions Office, managing incoming guests and telephone calls. Offers project support to the Admissions staff. Processes data entries into admissions software programs and organizes relevant documents for applications. Engages with Admissions Inquiries through phone and email communication. Manages the opening and processing of email and postal mail. Assisting with hospitality needs. Conducts campus tours.
Other Responsibilities:
Undertakes additional duties as assigned.
Tools and Equipment:
Utilizes a computer, Microsoft Suite, CampusNexus, and Slate.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities, and Minimum Qualifications:

Possesses an outgoing and engaging personality. 4. Demonstrates the ability to self-start and prioritize tasks. 5. Shows proficiency in organization, attention to detail, and multitasking. 6. Communicates efficiently and effectively with other members of the Admissions Team. 7. Customer service experience is preferred. 8. Has experience with computers and phones. 9. Maintains flexibility in scheduling.
