Use predictive modeling, historical trends, and demographic data to set territory recruitment goals and optimize the allocation of the regional travel budget. Oversee the development of strategic targeted marketing campaigns and communication flows in partnership with University Communications and Marketing and the Director of Enrollment Operations. Develop enrollment goals, conversion benchmarks, and recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs), and regularly evaluate progress and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly. Percentage Of Time 40 Responsibility / Duty Operational Excellence & Technology Integration Work with Financial Aid, Marketing, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Athletics, and other campus partners to develop coordinated recruitment and yield strategies. Maximize the utilization of the University's CRM (Slate) to automate workflows, personalize communications, and streamline the applicant experience. Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations, including state residency laws and public records policies. Oversee the execution of high-impact campus visitation programs, preview days, and open houses. Percentage Of Time 30 Responsibility / Duty Team Leadership & Budget Management Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate admissions professional staff. Foster a collaborative, customer-service-oriented culture focused on high-touch student engagement. Develop a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within the Admissions Office. Develop and responsibly manage the annual operating budget for the Office of Admissions. Percentage Of Time 15 Responsibility / Duty Community & Pipeline Partnerships Cultivate relationships with K-12 schools, community colleges, employers, community organizations, and regional partners to strengthen recruitment pipelines. Strengthen transfer pathways by collaborating with regional community colleges to optimize articulation agreements and cross-enrollment pipelines. Represent the university at regional, state, and national admissions conferences and public-facing events. Percentage Of Time 15 Posting Detail Information Minimum Experience Required Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education admissions or enrollment management. At least 3 years of experience directly managing full-time professional staff. Experience using a CRM and a Student Information System. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Degree Minimum Licenses Required Other Minimum Requirements Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication skills. Exceptional public speaking and written communication skills; ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholder groups. Knowledge of sales and marketing. Ability to travel regionally and work occasional evenings or weekends. Test(s) Required Preferred Education Master's Degree in Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field. Demonstrated experience working within a regional public university or a state system. Ability to interpret complex enrollment datasets and translate them into actionable recruitment tactics. A proven track record of adapting recruitment strategies to shifting regional demographics and competitive market pressures.
