Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Coordinator of Postsecondary Partnerships and College Access leads the development and management of partnerships with K-12 schools, some community-based organizations, and the college to expand college access, readiness, and enrollment. This role supports the design and delivery of programs that guide students, particularly those from underserved backgrounds?through the transition from middle school and high school into postsecondary education. The Coordinator plays a key role in advancing institutional goals related to access, equity, and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development and Management Establish and sustain partnerships with middle schools, high schools, and community organizations Serve as the primary liaison between the college and K-12 partner institutions Coordinate meetings, communication, and collaborative planning with school leaders, counselors, and external stakeholders Support grant-funded initiatives (Dual Enrollment, Early College, and TRIO Talent Search) by ensuring alignment with partner needs and program goals College Access Programming Design and implement college readiness programming, including workshops on college admissions, financial aid/FAFSA completion, career exploration, and academic planning Coordinate on-site and virtual programming for students and families Support early college awareness initiatives for middle and early high school grades Student Support and Engagement Advise and mentor students on postsecondary pathways, including college selection, applications, and enrollment steps Track student participation, progress, and outcomes Collaborate with internal departments (Admissions, Financial Aid, Advising, Enrollment) to ensure a seamless transition to college Data, Reporting, and Compliance Maintain accurate records of student engagement and program activities through postsecondary enrollment Monitor progress toward program goals and grant objectives Prepare reports for institutional leadership and external funders Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines Outreach and Recruitment Support recruitment efforts for college access programs and institutional enrollment initiatives Represent the college at K-12 school events, college fairs, and community meetings, particularly with partners Develop communication materials and outreach strategies to engage students and families

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in education, higher education administration, counseling, or related field preferred 2-4 years of experience in college access, TRIO programs, K-12 partnerships, or student services Demonstrated commitment to educational equity and working with diverse student populations Knowledge of college admissions, financial aid, and enrollment processes Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with state and federal grant-funded initiatives like Dual Enrollment and Early College, as well as TRIO Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Slate) and student tracking tools Bilingual or multilingual abilities
Work Environment:
Frequent travel to partner schools and community sites Some evening and weekend programming required

Expand college access and readiness for underrepresented students Strengthen K-12 and community partnerships Increase FAFSA completion and college enrollment rates Support a seamless, student-centered pathway into postsecondary education
