Extended Day Program Staff (5 positions)

Extended Day Program Director
POSITION SUMMARY
The Extended Day Program at Saint Agatha School operates Monday
- Thursday from 2:30 PM
- 5:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 2:30
- 4:30 PM beginning in September 2026. An Extended Day Program Staff member will work under the direction of the Extended Day Program Director. The Program Staff member will support and interact with students in the early childhood and kindergarten classrooms (ages 3
- 5), as well as support the Program Director during program hours.
Previous experience working with students in this age group is required.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support curriculum and instruction under the direction of the Program Director. Prepare and coordinate materials for activities at the request of the Program Director. Assist in classroom routine and management. Communicate with the Program Director regarding student concerns and needs. Maintain a safe environment on the playground, observing students, and scaffolding playground skills. Support students' access to the bathroom and bathroom procedures. Assist with supervision of students during non classroom times. Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director
QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of an Associates Degree Ability to pass a CORI check and fingerprinting deemed suitable by EEC. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, staff and the public in a professional manner that represents Saint Agatha School. Ability to work cooperatively with others.
PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE OF
Work well in teams. Correct English usage, grammar, spelling, and punctuation and vocabulary Oral communication skills
- must provide clear written and verbal feedback to the Program Director.
Candidates must also be able to receive and understand written and verbal communication from the Program Director. Have an understanding of early childhood development. Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy Member of the Catholic Faith Community preferred
