Job Description

Part-Time Admissions Coordinator Oneness-Family School — Chevy Chase and Kensington, Maryland Oneness-Family School, a thriving independent Montessori school in Chevy Chase, Maryland, is seeking a warm, dynamic, and mission-driven Part-Time Admissions Coordinator to join our team. For nearly three decades, we have educated children from age two through high school to become thoughtful, compassionate leaders — and we are proud of the richly diverse and international community of students, families, faculty, and staff that defines us. About the Role The Admissions Coordinator is the first face and voice of Oneness-Family School for prospective families. This person plays a vital role in welcoming families into our community, guiding them through the admissions process with care, and sharing our mission of peace education with authenticity and enthusiasm. In addition to managing the day-to-day work of admissions, this person is a key contributor to our marketing efforts and brand presence in the greater community. What You Will Do Oversee all admissions activities for programs serving children ages two through high school, including summer programs, managing inquiries, applications, interviews, tours, and enrollment decisions Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families, providing a warm, informed, and responsive experience from first inquiry through enrollment Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools and community organizations to strengthen our admissions pipeline Collaborate with the administrative team on marketing materials, email campaigns, social media content, open house events, and advertising efforts Manage admissions data and reporting using school database systems and standard office tools Represent the school at community events, school fairs, and outreach opportunities Support the broader school office as needed to ensure smooth daily operations What We Are Looking For A genuine connection to and enthusiasm for the mission of Oneness-Family School and Montessori education Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect warmly and professionally with families from a wide range of backgrounds Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with digital communication and social media Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with grace under pressure Proficiency with standard office technology, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ideally experience with admissions or school management software A collaborative team player who brings positivity and professionalism to every interaction Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred Three to five years of admissions, marketing, or related experience, preferably in an independent or Montessori school setting Why Oneness-Family School We are a close-knit, mission-centered community where every team member plays a meaningful role in the life of the school.
