Position Title:
Director of Admissions Summary:
Fox Chase is looking for someone energetic to fill a admissions director role in a skilled nursing facility setting. Our ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and implementing effective facility marketing and sales programs, ensuring the facility meets its' sales objectives. The admissions director will lead and coordinate the admissions process while managing facility's census growth and quality mix. Duties may include, but not limited to: Reviewing medical records, ability to understand medical terminiology. Demonstrated ability to understand and promote technical information (i.e. clinical outcomes, data points). Proven effective public speaking and presentation skills. Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors. Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions. Individual must be familiar with the various insurances, including, but not limited to: Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care.
Requirements:
Preferable degree in marketing, but not required. High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience. Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility. Effective verbal and written English communication skills. Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions. Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures. Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change. Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors.
Preferred Skills:
