is seeking a dedicated and experienced leader to join our Early Childhood Education team as a Program Supervisor . This is an opportunity to help shape high-quality early childhood programs, support educators and families, and ensure young children receive the strong foundation they need to thrive.

WHAT YOU BRING EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, or a related field.
EXPERIENCE
At least two years of successful experience in Early Childhood Education or a related educational field, including classroom or component coordination.
KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, Great Start Readiness Standards of Quality, Michigan Licensing, and Michigan Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements.
LEADERSHIP
Supervisory experience, staff development and evaluation experience, and strong administrative skills.
COLLABORATION
Ability to work effectively with staff, parents, families, professional organizations, and community partners.
COMMUNICATION
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse professional and community groups.
YOUR ROLE
As Program Supervisor, you will work alongside the Director of Early Childhood Education to provide leadership, coordination, supervision, and program oversight across DIISD's Early Childhood Education programs.
You will help:
Lead and support Early Childhood Education staff Coordinate program components and services Ensure compliance with Head Start and state requirements Support developmentally appropriate classroom practices Oversee curriculum implementation and program activities Coordinate professional development, training, and staff meetings Supervise and evaluate assigned staff Support developmental screening and child placement activities Coordinate services with DIISD departments and outside agencies Assist with program assessments and community needs assessments Support children, families, educators, and community partners
