Immediately Job Description The Head Faculty Athletic Manager plays a key role in ensuring contests run smoothly by managing the digital ticketing and admissions, coordinating officials and visiting teams, and supervising event staffing. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Digital Ticketing Management- Oversee the school's digital ticketing platform for all athletic contests where admission is charged, including event setup, pricing, monitoring sales, and ensuring proper use of ticket scanning at entry points. Ticket Allocation and Policies
- Ensure distribution of tickets follows the Board of Education's "Policy on Providing Tickets for Midland Public Schools Athletic Contests" (Appendix A-6), including reserved seating, season tickets, and complimentary admissions. Financial Accountability
- Maintain accurate records of all digital and gate receipts, reconcile digital reports, and follow proper deposit procedures in accordance with district policies. Publicity and Communication
- Provide timely information to families, local media outlets, the school website, and social media regarding ticketing and admissions procedures. Event Staffing and Crowd Supervision
- Arrange, schedule, and supervise ticket takers, security, and crowd control personnel, and process requisitions for payment of such staff. Officials Coordination
- Confirm scheduling of officials in cooperation with the building athletic chairperson and sport coach, verify assignments and arrival times, and arrange payment delivery at the conclusion of contests. Team Coordination
- Confirm scheduling details and logistics with visiting teams, including arrival times, locker room assignments, and facility needs to ensure smooth game operations. Supervision and Reporting
- Keep the athletic director informed of event needs and operations, and follow all required accounting and reporting procedures related to ticketing, officials, and event management.
