POSITION SUMMARY
The Carriage Club is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Director of Hockey to lead and continue developing the Club's youth, high school, and adult hockey programs. The Director of Hockey is responsible for developing and executing the Club's overall hockey program and player-development strategy around the Carriage Club principles of character, culture, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and fun .
The goal is straightforward:
to provide a premier hockey experience for Carriage Club members of all ages and skill levels. The Director of Hockey will work closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, in consultation with the Ice Committee and coaching staff, to establish short-term and long-term goals for the program. This position requires someone who understands that Carriage Club hockey is both competitive and recreational. Player development and competition are important, but they must be balanced with our family-first philosophy and the overall member experience. Success requires building a culture of sportsmanship, discipline, accountability, teamwork, player development, and respect while maintaining what has always made Carriage Club hockey special-a fun environment where members and families enjoy spending time together.
