Job Description Find your calling at Mercy! The Lead Decontamination Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the decontamination process of hospital rooms; utilizing and maintaining relevant decontamination equipment; and assisting the supervisor with daily workflows to maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and healthcare providers.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service. Prior healthcare or laboratory experience
Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties. Why Mercy?
