Job Overview Lone Star Truck Driving Academy is seeking a dynamic and motivated Student Admissions Representative to join our educational team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the admissions process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your energetic approach will inspire students to pursue their educational goals while ensuring compliance with institutional policies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys by providing exceptional customer service and detailed guidance from initial inquiry to enrollment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for education, and experience working within academic institutions or student recruitment environments. Responsibilities Engage with prospective students through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to promote the institution's programs and services. Conduct public speaking presentations at school fairs, community events, and informational sessions to attract potential applicants. Manage student information using the student information system (PoliSchool or similar platforms), ensuring accurate data entry and record keeping. Guide applicants through the admissions process by explaining requirements, deadlines, and necessary documentation clearly and transparently. Collaborate with academic advisors and enrollment teams to facilitate smooth transitions from inquiry to application completion and enrollment. Maintain comprehensive records of interactions, inquiries, and application statuses using CRM systems and spreadsheets for data management purposes. Stay informed about educational compliance regulations and school policies to ensure all recruitment activities adhere to legal standards and institutional guidelines. Skills Excellent public speaking abilities combined with strong written communication skills for engaging presentations and correspondence. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and CRM systems for effective data management. Experience in education administration, student recruitment, or admissions management within academic institutions is a plus but not required. Knowledge of admissions procedures, enrollment management strategies, and educational compliance regulations. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining high levels of customer service. Strong organizational skills with experience managing spreadsheets, data entry tasks, and working with student information systems. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
