Reputable Community Mental Health Agency is currently recruiting for Qualified Professional Director in its facility based Day Treatment program. Job Summary The Qualified Mental Health Professional Director (QP) is part of a Day Treatment team consisting of a Licensed Professional Team Leader (LP), other QP's, and Associate Professionals (AP)/Paraprofessionals (PP). The QP Director is responsible for supervising Day Treatment staff, completing weekly team meetings, supervision logs, performance evaluations, reviewing weekly notes, etc. Responsibilities and Duties Assisting QP's to develops and implement the Person Centered Plan for each client, revises and updates the PCP as needed, including adding psychoeducational/psychotherapeutic interventions to the client's PCP as needed. Provides additional case management functions of linking, arranging for services, and referrals for each client. Keeps in close contact with families and people involved in the client's care to encourage and promote family involvement. Provides first responder crisis plans, which may require face-to-face and/or telephonically services at times. Develops the daily/weekly/monthly activities schedule with the clients. Collaborates with the medical and treatment providers. Collaborates with school staff and administration. Is part of a Day Treatment Team that works closely together and meets weekly to review client updates, effectiveness of interventions used, and additional support. QP Director helps sub as a QP as needed
Qualifications and Skills Minimum Qualifications:
Meets qualifications for a Qualified Professional according to state definitions 10A NCAC 27G.0104, (a) an individual who holds a license, provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, except a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience with the population served; or (b) a graduate of a college or university with a Master's degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated experience with the population served; or (c) a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a human services field and has two years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated experience with the population served; or (d) a graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree in a field other than human services and has four years of full-time, post-bachelor's degree accumulated experience with the population served. AND is required to have the skill, knowledge, and experience with child/adolescent Mental Health. AND Has leadership skills and experience
