POSITION SUMMARY
Oversees and monitors the educational functions of WNCSource's Children's Services programs to ensure best practices are maintained in teaching practices and the learning environment and that our staff is implementing educational curriculum with fidelity. Directly plan, manage, and monitor education services, including teaching and the learning environment, curricula, ongoing assessment, home visits and family conferences, coaching, and education in the home-based program Collaborate with the Education Assistance team to support our staff in furthering their education through college coursework Supervises a team of coaches, ensuring teachers and Parent Educators receive quality coaching and mentoring.
EDUCATION/TRAINING
Minimum:
Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Preferred:
Master's degree with coursework in Early Childhood Education. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
EXPERIENCE
Five years of experience teaching children ages birth to six. Engagement with families in a management/supervisor role. Early Head Start/Head Start/NC Pre-K experience preferred. Experience and/or knowledge of Practice-Based Coaching preferred. Thank you for your interest in WNCSource!
