Position Game Day Administrator Division:
Athletics Department:
Athletics Reports to: Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Operations Position Summary Representing the Athletics Department and college during home competition. Game Day Administrator is responsible for ensuring that events are conducted in a professional, safe, and compliant manner. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The results you will deliver each day that matter most! Ensuring the event operates in accordance with NCAA and conference regulations. Monitoring event operations and addressing issues that arise Serving as the primary contact for officials, visiting teams and event staff. Supporting game operations personal Game Management staff are present Event Operations run smoothly and efficiently Facilities are properly prepared for competition Appropriate staffing is present for ticketing, security and event operations Game Day Administrator are responsible for helping ensure a safe and respectful environment (monitor spectators, addressing unsportsmanlike behavior, coordinate with campus safety or event security when issues arise) Welcome visiting teams and game officials Assist with any concerns that arise during the event Ensure officials have necessary game information and support Proper incident reporting to (Asst. Athletic Director for Internal Operations or Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Operations Other Duties as assigned Education/ Experience What you will need to be successful! Bachelor's degree (required) Business Administration Sport Management Finance / Accounting Public Administration Master's degree Sport Administration (MASM) Business Administration (MBA) Higher Education Leadership Experience 3-5+ years in college athletics operations Event or game-day operations Life at Livingstone College Why we believe you will love working at Livingstone College!!
