00 am - 4:30 pm• | M - F | 40hrs/wk Flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends to meet donor/organization schedules and/or as determined by the Foundation Director
RESPONSIBLE TO
Director of MSLCC Foundation
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
The Foundation Operations Coordinator plays a central role in supporting the Foundation's day-to-day operations. This position is responsible for managing the donor database (CRM), coordinating marketing and communications efforts, supporting fundraising events, and providing administrative and committee support. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple priorities while helping advance donor engagement and the Foundation's overall mission.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
General Operations Support overall Foundation operations and special projects as needed. Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Event & Campaign Support Coordinate logistics for fundraising events, including registration, communications, and follow-up. Support event planning, vendor coordination, and on-site execution. Assist with fundraising campaigns and appeals. CRM & Data Management Manage and maintain the Foundation's CRM, ensuring accurate and up-to-date donor records. Process gifts, pledges, and acknowledgments in a timely and accurate manner. Generate reports and dashboards to support fundraising, campaigns, and leadership decision-making. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and confidentiality. Marketing & Communications Manage and execute social media strategy and content calendar Assist in developing marketing materials, including newsletters, emails, and campaign collateral. Maintain and update Foundation web content (as applicable). Maintain and update digital signage. Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels Photograph and video content for use on social media, internal communications, and marketing materials. Arranges for press coverage for company events when appropriate. Assist with direct mail campaigns. Donor Relations & Stewardship Support donor communications, including acknowledgments, impact updates, and stewardship materials. Assist with donor tracking, segmentation, and engagement strategies. Help coordinate donor recognition efforts and initiatives. #INDGEN Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in nonprofit, development, marketing, or administrative roles. Experience with CRM database systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and deadlines. Successfully pass a drug test, background check, including criminal history, certification registries, and employment history Completion of training as required by Missouri Slope Employees at Missouri Slope are required to receive the annual influenza vaccination as a condition of employment. Successful candidates must either get the vaccination (which is covered by the employer), provide proof of a current vaccination, or obtain an approved accommodation on their start date. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to touch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop kneel; crouch or crawl; talk and hear, visual acuity proficient for an office setting. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES DESIRED
Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail. Professional conduct and presentation. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and deadlines. Knowledge of marketing techniques, photo and video editing. Event planning and coordination. Multimedia and social media experience. Ability to work with database and software programs. Understanding of fundraising and capital campaign initiatives and newsletter writing.
WORK CONDITIONS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. The setting is within a large, 192-bed facility with 6 nursing units that are well-lighted and well-ventilated with carpeted or vinyl floors.
