This position leads studentengagement initiatives, leadership development efforts, and co-curricular programming that enrich the student experience and supports bothpersonal and academic growth.
Our Ideal Candidate's Education and Experience Include :
A Bachelor's degree isrequired. A Master's degree in Student Affairs or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in student affairs or highereducation. Must possess a valid Nebraska driver's license. Responsibilities for
This Position Include:
Working closely with faculty, staff, and student organizations, the Coordinator develops and implements opportunities that encouragestudent involvement, leadership, and connection to campus life. Key areas of focus include supporting clubs and organizations, providingleadership development opportunities, and fostering academic engagement among students. In consultation with their supervisor,responsibilities include planning student involvement activities, advising the Campus Activities Board, and coordinating traditional campusevents. The Coordinator also helps plan and implement a variety of programming opportunities for students, including weekend, summer, andevening events designed to increase engagement and build community. In addition to program coordination, the Coordinator mentorsstudents to help cultivate their leadership potential while ensuring that all engagement initiatives align with the institution's mission,core values, and strategic priorities related to student success and retention.
