Job Description
Position Summary The Director of Residential Services is responsible for the overall management, operation, and supervision of the residential substance use treatment program. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, client-centered services in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including New Jersey Department of Health and DMHAS standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the residential program, ensuring adequate staffing coverage across all shifts Supervise and support clinical and non-clinical staff, including counselors, support staff, and supervisors Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and audits Monitor client care, documentation, and service delivery to ensure quality and timeliness Coordinate with medical, clinical, and administrative teams to ensure continuity of care Address incidents, grievances, and crisis situations in a timely and professional manner Participate in hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions Ensure proper completion of reports, including those related to legal, regulatory, and funding requirements Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment for clients Collaborate with external agencies, referral sources, and stakeholders as needed
