JOB SUMMARY
The Student Content Creator will work with the Senior Associate Dean of Students and the Residence Life department to develop engaging, creative, and informative content that highlights the on-campus living experience and student resources available at Seton Hall University. This role is ideal for students passionate about storytelling, social media, and building community through digital platforms.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Create high-quality content pieces per semester (e.g., social media posts, short videos, graphics, blog articles, or photo stories). Collaborate with Residence Life and DOS staff to align content with departmental goals and the University's Catholic mission. Promote events, programs, and initiatives that enhance student engagement and community living. Ensure all content reflects Seton Hall's values of safety, respect, and student well-being. Meet with supervisor regularly. Assist with various administrative tasks and tasks related to Pirate Adventure/New Student Orientation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current Seton Hall University student in good academic and social standing. Strong communication and creative skills; experience with social media platforms. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Interest in campus life, community building, and digital storytelling. Must be enrolled in a matriculated program and registered at least half-time for Fall 2026 DESIRED
