Job Description

Bard College seeks a Records Associate for International Network Programs with special responsibility for current and future programs developed through the Global Higher Education Alliance (GHEA) working closely with colleagues from GHEA to coordinate and support new and ongoing initiatives. This is a full-time, 12 month per year position reporting to the Registrar and Vice President for Institutional Research. The successful candidate will excel at working in a community that is broadly diverse with regard to race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, gender, gender identity, nationality, sexual orientation, and religion. Bard College's main campus is in Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y., with 1,900 undergraduate students; the College also includes multiple graduate programs. The 1,000-acre campus sits along the Hudson River and offers the Fisher Performing Arts Center, and Hessel Museum of Art, and is the home of the Bard Prison Initiative, the largest college-degree-granting prison education program in the U.S. The Bard Network also includes several Bard High School Early Colleges across the country as well as international campuses and partnerships. Bard College is a private institution working in the public interest. Bard faculty and staff lead their students by example, building upon the existing network of boundary-breaking programs focused on rethinking who can and should be included in a liberal arts education.
Essential Duties:
Coordinate and maintain a list of all programs through which Bard College offers undergraduate college credit through its international programs, including information on degrees or certificates offered, location, local accreditation, and key contacts Coordinate the publication of an annual course list GHEA courses (to include course subject, course number, course title, credits, and course description) Create and maintain college records for enrolled students earning undergraduate college credit through these programs, including student enrolled in certificate programs and the Bard Global Degree Provide information on a regular basis and as needed to students enrolled in such programs, as well as local administrators Bachelor's degree required Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required Effectively manage and organize daily tasks independently and with a team while balancing multiple projects and meeting deadlines required Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook required Accuracy and productivity in completing tasks required Customer service and team orientated required Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues required Professional experience in higher education and International work or study preferred To apply please submit a cover letter, resume and the contact information for three professional references to Interfolio by following this link: https://apply.interfolio.com/182883
