Cedarville University is seeking to hire a Graduate Assistant for Marketing and Sponsorships within the Athletics Department. This part-time, non-exempt (FLSA) graduate assistant student position reports to the Vice President for Athletics, with direct supervision from the Director for Marketing and Sponsorships. The position assists with the day-to-day activities and responsibilities related to the administration, promotion, and branding of Cedarville Athletics. This position includes a scholarship as part of participation in an approved master's degree program at Cedarville University.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Assist with the growth and development of the Yellow Jacket Club Assist with management of Yellow Jacket Sponsor relationships Assist with game promotions and in-game events Assist with marketing and branding efforts for the Cedarville Athletics brand Assist with the scheduling and oversight of the Stinger mascot Assist with coordinating community service efforts and the Yellow Jacket Virtual Reading Program Assist with oversight of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee Assist with planning and execution of the Golden Jacket Awards Maintain a commitment to NCAA, Conference, and University rule compliance Report any NCAA, Conference, and University rule violations to the Compliance Coordinator Understand that violations of NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in a related field required Strong organizational skills Demonstrated integrity Disciplined time management skills Basic understanding of NCAA rules and regulations Desire to pursue a master's degree Interest in gaining experience toward a career in college athletics This position is subject to the University's verification of credentials and other information required by law and Cedarville University policies, including the successful completion of a criminal history investigation.
