Coordinate career development activities for students, teachers, counselors and parents in consortium school districts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Support students within Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs at Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District and the Heights Career Tech Consortium Assisting students with career exploration, pathway planning, industry credential awareness, technical skill attainment, and postsecondary readiness activities aligned to Ohio Career Technical Education standards. Coordinate and support Career & Technical Education program activities and career-connected learning experiences. Supporting middle school career awareness, pathway exploration, and CTE exposure activities across CHUH middle schools and consortium partner districts to strengthen the CTE pipeline. Serve as the CHUH point person and liaison for transportation coordination related to Career & Technical Education programs, including work-based learning experiences, internships, field trips, credential testing, recruitment events, and other career-connected activities. Collaborate with administrators, counselors, teachers, EMIS personnel, and consortium staff to Support daily operations and student success within CTE programs. Support implementation of work-based learning, CTSO, and industry credential opportunities aligned to Ohio Career Technical Education program requirements. Support implementation of district and consortium Career Technical Education initiatives aligned to Perkins V and Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) priorities. Coordinating and facilitating Business Advisory Council meetings in alignment with Ohio Department of Education & Workforce requirements and local workforce needs. Maintain Career Technical Education program records, compliance requirements, and professional responsibilities Assisting with collection, organization, and tracking of information related to Perkins V requirements, CLNA priorities, state reporting, program reviews, career readiness indicators, and student outcome data. Supporting documentation and monitoring related to CTE accountability measures including concentrator status, completer status, industry credential attainment, technical skill assessments, work-based learning participation, graduation seals, and postsecondary readiness indicators. Assisting with tracking, verification, and data entry of industry-recognized credentials, certifications, technical skill attainment, and career readiness indicators within the student information system (SIS) and other state reporting platforms. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in career development or a related field Accounting and data processing skills substantiated by training and/or relevant work experience Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks. Demonstrates proficiency using equipment and software applications associated with the position. Training/work experience in bookkeeping and data processing is advantageous. Hiring Manager:
