Summary The Directr f Virtual Educatin leads, develps, and manages the district's virtual and nline learning initiatives. This rle ensures high-quality digital learning experiences fr students, versees curriculum develpment, ensures cmpliance with state and federal guidelines, and prvides leadership fr instructinal staff in nline envirnments. The directr cllabrates with district leaders, educatrs, families, and cmmunity partners t expand access t virtual educatin pprtunities. Essential Duties and Respnsibilities Lead the develpment, implementatin, and review f the nline learning and instructinal innvatin plan and ensure its alignment with the Allentwn Sch l District (ASD) Strategic Plan. versee nline scheduling, enrllment, plicies, prcedures, and practices in cllabratin with ASD leadership, faculty, and ther pertinent stakeh lders. Directs, crdinates, and supervises the administratin f all virtual prgrams t include all certified, prfessinal, and supprt staff, assigning curses and students; assessing teacher perfrmance; prviding teacher prfessinal develpment and c aching; and leading teacher recruitment.
