We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Residential IDD Services in Havertown , PA . The Director of Residential Services maintains a high-quality program to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This person is responsible for supporting the team with day-to-day operations and challenges to achieve programmatic goals. Starting pay is $65,000/per year Responsibilities Lead and train a team to support programmatic initiatives, goals, daily routines, and the unique needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Manage team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition Manage staff schedules and ensure shifts are adequately staffed Develop and update Individual Support Plans (ISP)/Person-Centered Plans (PCP) with an interdisciplinary team to include any concerns, observations, and behavioral developments Ensure individuals are supported per their ISP/PCP including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management Ensure program documentation and billable records are completed accurately and timely Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and immediately report any concerns Manage relationships with the families and guardians of the individuals in our care May conduct programmatic investigations May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree required with two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Team oriented with demonstrated leadership experience Experience with problem solving against multiple priorities Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing Why Community Options?
