About this role Responsible for processing student admissions and registration documents in the Student Services department. Performs data entry of admissions in a timely manner, completes and processes application forms, and provides other clerical support functions for the department. The position requires the ability to work a fluctuating schedule, including nights and weekends. What a day of an Admissions Processing Representative looks like : Reviews and revises reports and documents for accuracy and completeness. Enters new students into the appropriate admissions or enrollment records. Includes administering and interpreting policies regarding student admission, re-admission, and late registration. Processes residency documentation and enters transcripts into admissions records. Types and edits forms, reports, memos, and correspondences. Uses word processing programs. Sets up and organizes files and manuals; counts and alphabetizes records; keeps files up to date. Identifies tracking documents and reviews for completeness. Logs documents received and completed. Acquires knowledge of other staff duties and serves as a backup, as necessary. Enters or edits data to existing database files. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
