Academic Leadership Description:
Plan curriculum, General Education design and assessment. Budget, resource prioritization and allocation. Supervise direct reports. Program planning, development, assessment, and marketing. Provide leadership for transfer and articulation. Collaborate with all faculty, administrative reports, advisory committees, and all other internal stakeholders and processes throughout the institution.Essential Function:
Conflict Resolution Description:
Effectively resolve personnel-related issues, including resolving conflicts that arise between students, faculty, administration and staff. Effectively build and develop relationships. Resolve student issues including grade and refund appeals, problems with faculty and/or staff, complaints about programs, facilities, or processes like admission requirements. Understand and work within the confines of collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) to support staff and faculty and resolve conflicts.Essential Function:
Fiscal Leadership Description:
Responsible for budgeting and resource allocation, including approval of purchase requisitions over $250, administrative travel and professional development requests, capital equipment and facility improvement requests, and budget adjustment proposals. Oversight of division processes such as scheduling, faculty loading, deciding which classes will run, catalog changes, and institutional reporting.Essential Function:
Systems Leadership Description:
Participate on committees, i.e., academic cabinet, online curriculum development, placement, assessment, grade and refund appeals, enrollment management and various ad-hoc committees.
