Job Description
Job Overview The vision of First Christian Church is to be people of faith who are centered in Christ and rooted in relationships. Do you share that vision, care deeply about Christian education, and enjoy communicating with clarity and creativity? If so, FCC is seeking a highly energetic Christian leader to direct our Christian Education Ministry and oversee our church communications. You will organize, direct, and/or promote Christian education for all ages, including events that intentionally welcome and support the special needs community. You will also lead the church's internal and external communications, helping people stay informed and engaged with the life of the church. What You'll Do Work collaboratively with church leadership to align educational content with theological principles and church mission. Lead, coordinate, and select curriculum alongside volunteers for Christian education ministries for children, youth, and adults. Plan and promote events and programs that serve and include the special needs community. Produce and manage church communications, including a twice-monthly newsletter, social media channels, and basic graphic design for print and digital materials. Maintain a consistent, welcoming voice and visual presence for FCC in all communication platforms. Experience A mature, committed Christian with a solid foundation in the faith and a passion for Christ and Christian education. A gifted communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect across ages and abilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex spiritual concepts clearly and compassionately across various media channels. Experience planning and executing large-scale events such as Vacation Bible Schools, retreats, or community outreach programs. High energy, strong organizational skills, and comfort managing multiple projects at once. Pay:
