Faith Commitment:
Preferably a member of Zion Lutheran Church who can warmly articulate the value of a Lutheran, PK-8 education. •
Professional Experience:
3+ years in marketing, communications, or admissions (school-based experience preferred). •
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with social media, basic graphic design (Canva), and school management software (e.g., FACTS and GradeLink). •
Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional public speaking and writing ability; a "people person" who connects easily with parents of all ages. Key Responsibilities 1. Community Awareness & Strategic Marketing • The "Whole Child"
Narrative:
Develop marketing materials that showcase the continuity of our education, highlighting how our preschool prepares children for the academic and spiritual rigors of our K-8 program. •
Targeted Advertising:
Execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (social media, local magazines, and community banners) designed to reach young families and those seeking a Christ-centered K-8 alternative. •
Digital Presence:
Oversee the school website and social media channels, ensuring a consistent stream of high-quality content that showcases daily student life and academic excellence. 2. Church-School Integration & Congregational Outreach •
Congregational Awareness:
Regularly share school success stories and student testimonies during Sunday services, in the church bulletin, and through the congregational newsletter. •
Internal Pipeline:
Proactively identify and reach out to church families with school-aged children who are not yet enrolled. •
Ministry Synergy:
Partner with the Youth and Children's Ministry Directors to ensure church families feel invited into the school community and vice versa. 3. Admissions & Enrollment Management •
Inquiry Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for all potential families; manage the admissions database (CRM) to ensure every lead receives a personal, timely follow-up. •
The Visit Experience:
Lead high-energy campus tours and "Open House" events tailored to the specific needs of preschool, elementary, and middle school parents. •
Onboarding:
Manage the application, testing, and enrollment paperwork, ensuring a seamless and welcoming transition for new families. 4. Internal Retention & "Bridge" Marketing •
Middle School Retention:
Execute internal marketing campaigns for Kindergarten and 5th-grade families to highlight the unique benefits of staying through 8th grade (leadership, small classes, and faith formation). •
Transition Events:
Coordinate "Shadow Days" and "Step-Up" experiences where elementary students spend time in the middle school wing to build excitement for the future. 5. Family Advocacy & Referral Programs •
New Family Referrals:
Manage an incentivized referral program that encourages current families to introduce friends and neighbors to the school. •
Ambassador Network:
Recruit and train a "Parent Ambassador" group to assist with community outreach and welcome new families. •
Testimonial Engine:
Systematically collect parent and student testimonials for use in digital and print marketing. 6. Data Management & Performance Reporting •
Funnel Tracking:
Maintain accurate reports on the "Admissions Funnel," tracking leads from their initial source to final enrollment. •
ROI Analysis:
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing spend to ensure dollars are used on the highest-converting platforms. •
Market Research:
Conduct annual parent satisfaction surveys and "exit interviews" to identify trends and opportunities for school improvement. •
Alumni Tracking:
Maintain, track and advertise Zion alumniacademic, sports and specials (drama, music & etc…) milestones. 7. Parent Feedback & Satisfaction (Surveying) •
Annual Satisfaction Surveys:
Design and distribute comprehensive annual surveys (typically between February and the end of the school year) to measure parent satisfaction in key areas such as communication, teaching quality, and school safety. • Net Promoter Score (NPS): Implement NPS surveys to measure family loyalty and the strength of the school's "word-of-mouth" reputation. •
New Parent Surveys:
Conduct specific outreach to families in their first year to evaluate the effectiveness of the admissions process and early school experiences. •
Exit Interviews:
Facilitate formal exit conversations or surveys with withdrawing families to identify trends, address concerns, and capture data on why families leave.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
