Job Description
Cross Schools Director of Softball/Director of Baseball/Director of Girls Basketball / Head Varsity Coach Building an Elite Program Cross Schools (Bluffton, SC) is seeking three high-energy, visionary leaders to serve as the Director of the Softball Program, Director of the Baseball Program, and Director of the Girls Basketball Program & Head Varsity Coach in their respective sport. This is an opportunity to develop high-character young people, elite athletes, and strong leaders within a culture that prioritizes faith, excellence, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate is a driven, self-starting leader with the vision, resilience, and communication skills to build something special. This role requires a builder—someone who can cast a vision, inspire buy-in from athletes and families, and develop a high-performance culture that attracts top-tier competitors who want to be part of something bigger than themselves. - Lead the entire program at all levels (Varsity & MS) with a clear vision for growth, development, and sustained success
- Develop and execute a roadmap to establish Cross as an elite program
- Create a competitive, high-performance culture that attracts driven student-athletes and families
- Engage and lead a coaching staff that reinforces the program's vision and values
- Foster an environment of faith-based discipline and accountability across all levels
- Ensure academic excellence, supporting athletes in their main responsibilities as students first
- Actively engage with admissions and prospective families to grow and develop the program with mission-aligned student-athletes
- Develop players beyond the game, teaching leadership, character, and life skills that translate beyond the game
- Be a visible and active member of the school and local community, supporting its mission beyond athletics
