Overview Full-Time | Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm | Rotating Weekend Shift Keystone Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated Admissions Assistant to join our mission-driven team supporting individuals seeking Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, compassionate environment and is committed to helping clients take their first steps toward recovery. What You'll Do Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients and families seeking treatment Guide individuals through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and clarity Discuss funding options, insurance coverage, and financial responsibilities Coordinate transportation logistics to ensure safe and timely arrival for treatment Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and outreach teams to support smooth admissions Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality standards Participate in a rotating weekend schedule to support 7‑day admissions needs What We're Looking For Strong communication skills and the ability to speak with clients in crisis with compassion Comfort discussing financial matters, insurance benefits, and payment options Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a dynamic environment Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, customer service, or admissions is a plus A commitment to supporting individuals on their recovery journey Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greet and search new patients and those transporting patients upon arrival. Review prospective admissions against approved admission criteria, policies and procedures. Responsible for clerical duties such as managing paperwork, handling data entry, engaging with insurance companies over claims and answering phones. Complete paperwork necessary to admit patient to the assigned program and explain forms prior to patient signing, notify clinical lead of patient's arrival and escort the patient and documentation to appropriate location within the facility. Efficient and accurate completion of the admission process of patients and the timely distribution of the paperwork necessary to notify staff of the arrival/transfer of each patient. Ensure all required patient information is received, processed and necessary appointments are made with the proper behavioral or medical health personnel. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
High-school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in a social services field preferred. One or more years' experience in healthcare preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS
CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). First aid may be required based on state or facility.
