Posting Text The Sanford School of Medicine invites applications for an Education Coordinator to support clinical education on the Sioux Falls campus. This role is integral to the delivery of high-quality medical education and requires a professional who can operate with independence, sound judgment, and a strongmitment to student success. Position Overview
The Education Coordinator serves as a central leader in coordinating clinical education experiences for medical students. Working at the intersection of students, faculty, and clinical partners, this position ensures thatplex educational operations run smoothly while maintaining a high standard of support and professionalism.
This role is best suited for an individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, isfortable managingpeting priorities, and brings a thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach toplex challenges. Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage clinical scheduling across multiple departments and clinical sites, ensuring alignment with program requirements
Serve as a trusted resource and advisor to students, providing guidance and navigatingplex or sensitive concerns
Partner with faculty and clinical leaders to ensure high-quality, consistent educational experiences
Coordinate and execute core curriculum activities, assessments, and student progress tracking
Plan and direct key campus programming, including orientation and student-focused initiatives
Oversee studentpliance processes and interface with clinical partners to ensure readiness for training environments
Contribute meaningfully tomittees and initiatives that shape the student experience
Provide direction and coordination for support staff contributing to program operations What We're Looking For

Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor's degree or equivalentbination of education and experience
1-3 years of experience in healthcare, higher education, or program coordination
Preferred:
Experience in medical education or clinical training environments
Demonstrated ability to manageplex scheduling or multi-site coordination
Interest in student support and advocacy
