Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field Active Texas Educational Diagnostician certification required Experience conducting psychoeducational and educational evaluations preferred Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and assessment practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Contract Details:
Pay:
$50 to $53 an Hour Full Time | School Hours Conduct ARDs and evaluations $3,000 Assignment Bonus•
What You'll Be Doing:
Administer, score, and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine student eligibility for special education services according to state and federal regulations. Receive student referrals and implement the appraisal process Take part in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee to help interpret assessment data, determine appropriate student placement, and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in alignment with district procedures. Collaborate and consult with the interdisciplinary education team, parents/guardians, and community agencies as needed.
