Responsibilities include supervising student employees, collaborating with instructors and CE product managers, supporting program assessment, and serving as a liaison across departments. The role provides academic coaching to students in Continuing Education (CE) programs to support academic progress and course completion through goal setting, time management, and success planning. This position also teaches student success courses, conducts workshops, and coordinates accommodations and services for students with disabilities. What you'll do in this position: Coordinate and implement accommodations and services for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with ADA regulations Provide academic coaching to students, including goal setting, time management, and academic success planning Teach high school and college student success courses and conduct workshops/seminars Supervise, hire, train, and mentor student employees including peer educators and mentors Oversee daily operations of the Student Success Center and analyze/report program data Identify at-risk students and coordinate appropriate academic interventions Collaborate with instructors, CE product managers, and instructional designers to support student learning Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to student services and accommodations Serve as a liaison to departments, committees, and stakeholders What qualifies you for this role: Required A firm commitment to the mission of BYU Bachelor's degree At least one year of supervisory experience Experience teaching, tutoring, or conducting workplace training Current secondary teaching certificate and/or coaching credential, or willingness to obtain within the first year of hire Knowledge of ADA regulations and accommodations in academic or workplace settings Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and mentor student employees Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and maintain confidentiality Preferred Master's degree Three or more years of supervisory experience Experience in K-12 or higher education, teaching, tutoring, or workforce training Experience in peer coaching or mentoring Special education certification and experience with accommodations Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm in stressful situations What we offer in return: In addition to our competitive pay structure, this position comes with fantastic benefits, including: 401k. 51Typical Starting Pay:
$59,000 - $75,500 The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate's job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors.
