Job Summary:

The Referral and Pre-Authorization Clerk is responsible for compiling itemized hospital bills, verifying patient insurance coverage and computing patient insurance benefits. Works closely with the Admitting Office, Medical Records, and physicians' office staff. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Previous customer service experience preferred.

Skills:
