Job Description
Job Summary Highlands Fellowship is a growing, multi-campus church with three physical campuses, an Online Campus, a weekly regional television broadcast, and global ministry partnerships helping people experience life with Jesus around the world. More than 2,200 people gather each weekend across our campuses, with approximately 200 people attending our Marion Campus. Our Marion Campus has a bold vision to reach all of Smyth County with the hope of Jesus, and we're looking for a passionate, relational Student Director who is excited to invest in the next generation. To fill out an applicaton, please go to: https://hf.church/jobs Responsibilities The Student Director will lead and disciple students in grades 6-12, helping them experience life with Jesus by being with Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and doing what Jesus did. Working alongside the Marion Campus Pastor and the Highlands Fellowship Student Ministry Team, you'll help create a welcoming environment where students are known, loved, and encouraged to grow in their faith. This is a part-time position averaging 10 hours per week. Much of the teaching, curriculum, strategy, and ministry support is provided through our central Student Ministry Team, allowing you to focus on what matters most—building relationships with students, developing volunteers, and creating an engaging ministry environment. What You'll Do
- Lead the weekly student gathering at the Marion Campus.
- Build relationships with middle and high school students throughout the week.
- Recruit, encourage, and invest in a team of volunteers.
- Partner with parents to support the spiritual growth of their students.
- Help students connect to camps, retreats, outreach opportunities, and churchwide student events.
- Collaborate with the Highlands Fellowship Student Ministry Team to create a consistent student ministry experience across all campuses. What We're Looking For
