Duties:
NRCC is seeking a decisive, student-focused, detail-oriented, and compliance-driven seasoned professional to join our student services team as the Admissions and Records Manager on our campus in Dublin. The Admissions and Records Manager establishes and interprets admissions policies and procedures, and ensures compliance with institutional, state, and federal requirements. The manager provides leadership for NRCC's admissions operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, high-quality, student-centered, compliant, and confidential enrollment processes. The manager also oversees daily admissions functions, including the college application, registration, program completion, and graduation certification process, transcript requests, and coordinates the work of the admissions team. The work of the Admissions and Records Manager requires decisiveness, adaptability, excellent communication skills, strong attention to compliance and details, and a commitment to an outstanding student experience. The manager utilizes an assortment of technological solutions to facilitate admissions and records activities. Reporting to the Coordinator for Admissions and Records and Advising Services, the Admissions and Records Manager's primary role is to supervise the Admissions and Records Office and staff and oversee a variety of departmental functions and processes.Responsibilities:
- Supervise the department and staff of the Admissions and Records Office.
- Ensure the security and accuracy of student records in compliance with all Virginia Community College System, federal, and state regulations.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of college policies, procedures, academic programs, and student services to provide accurate information and guidance.
- Coordinate the annual President's Awards Ceremony.
- Oversee the certification of all graduation candidates and manage the processes related to program completion.
- Review applications for admissions and determine proper program placement for students.
- Serve as the Primary Designated School Official ( PDSO ) through the Student Exchange Visitor Program ( SEVP ).
- Evaluate all official college transcripts and award transfer credits toward a student's program of study.
- Oversee all aspects of the Student Information Systems ( SIS ) regarding admissions applications, registration, and enrollment.
- Provide training and support for college personnel with the Student Information System ( SIS ).
- Administer credit for prior learning by evaluating and awarding academic credit for demonstrated subject matter competency gained through prior academic coursework, nonacademic learning, professional work experience, military training, and other nontraditional learning experiences.
- Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and administrative operations.
- Strong organizational, oral, written communication, and computer skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced proficiency with current Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

- Previous experience utilizing PeopleSoft Student Information System ( SIS ) or comparable student information systems to support complex college processes.
- Knowledge of federal regulations governing international students, including the Student and Exchange Visitor Program ( SEVP ), and experience providing services to international student populations.
