Visiting Instructor of Accounting (9-month, Non-Tenure Track) Samford University's Brock School ofBusiness invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian university environment to apply for the position of Visiting Instructorwithin the Accounting Department. This non-tenure track faculty position is a nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2026. Qualified candidates will hold an earned Master's or Doctorate in Accounting, or a related field from an institutionally accrediteduniversity. ABDs near completion will also be considered. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching. Applicants for thisposition must exhibit exemplary teaching skills, along with a commitment to academic excellence. The ability to work effectively andcollegially with faculty, students and colleagues is expected. The normal teaching load for an instructor is 12 credit hours per semester.
This is will be a one (1) year appointment only, with the option to renew for a second year. In the fall of 2015, Brock School ofBusiness moved into a 75,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art building that provides excellent space for faculty to interact with students,colleagues and the regional business community.
