Duties Deliver engaging social studies and history lessons that foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and civic responsibility Incorporate creative writing, journalism, and research activities to enhance literacy education and analytical skills Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Provide mentorship and academic advising to support students' personal development and academic success Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, History, Social Sciences or related field; higher education teaching experience preferred Proven classroom experience with middle school or high school students in social studies or history subjects Familiarity with learning technology tools, library services, and educational software to enhance instruction Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple classes, assessments, and extracurricular activities Experience working with diverse learners.
