Description Applications for Part-Time, Adjunct Instructor pools are continually accepted (unless otherwise specified) by the District. They will be added to the application pool for review by hiring authorities on an as-needed basis. Should you be invited for an interview, you will be contacted by a District representative. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher and two years of professional experience OR Associate's Degree and six years of professional experience OR the equivalent OR a valid California Community College Instructor Credential in Broadcasting Technology. The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment. Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master's degree. Professional Experience Includes Teaching Experience. Unpaid experience may be counted if it entailed responsibilities substantially similar to those of relevant paid positions in the field. Applicants bear the responsibility for verifying all experience by documentation satisfactory to the districts. Additional assessment is required for Applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services ( NACES ) or Academic Credentials Evaluation Institute, INC.
